Is there someone to make me an Apple Orb which would look good with this wallpaper http://apfelblog.ch/wp-content/uploads/wp-10.jpg . I would do it, but i suck at graphic design.

Thanks goes out to Blizo, StartOrbz Studio is a great program & I use it alot.

I have a few .PNG Orbz as well as a few .BMP Orbz that I can use by going through the 'Classic Orb' setting, but I was wondering if someone can either teach me how to convert the .BMP Orbz to .PNG or convert them for me if I leave them here in a .zip file? I'd just like to make it a little easier on myself by seeing all that I have in the same program's window.

Thanks for the link Bongo, the conversions went just fine. But when I try to import them into StartOrb, I get the following message:
"Unfortunately StartOrbz was unable to add "-----.png" to your collection. Please make sure the orb you selected is a genuine StartOrbz creation."

So is there any other route I can take?

I've added a .rar file of the .BMPs I'd like to get converted.

If they were not made with StartOrbz then they will not import. Here is what I did to make it work, I opened up one of the .bmp with gimp and cropped out the three different images which were 54x54 pixels each one at a time saving them as a .png, after that I opened up StartOrbz in imported each .png image and was able to make the orb.
I tried saving them as .bmp but lost the transparency but saving them as a .png resulted in no loss of transparency.
If you need help using gimp let me know and I will help you.

I then used StartOrbz Studio to create a New Orb, but when I apply the Orb, the background is black & not transparent.

How do I get the transparency? I've tried what I read in Photoshop's Help, but I just can't seem to get this right.

Give these a try I used Gimp to save them after removing the black it saves the transparency better for me then PS, I made the orb to.

Looks great Bongo, I've been able to change some .bmp orbs I have to .png orbs w/tranparency, but I am having the darnest problem w/the one I've attached. I tried both Photoshop & GIMP, but just can't get it right. Could you take a shot at this one?

Here you go, it looked like the transparency was fine when I opened it in gimp. I went ahead and made the start orb with StartOrbz.

Assassins Creed Abstergo

Hi, I created 2 Assassin's Creed themed start images, however when I applied the 1st Abstergo one for some reason when I hovered over the start button the "Normal" image can be seen below the "Hover" image, couldn't figure out how to fix it so I just covered it up with a colour that matched my start bar, thought I would share it anyway and if someone might be able to fix it feel free to do so.

Do people still even care about StartOrbz anymore? I know I haven't posted in a while, sorry about that. I was days away from releasing SO4.0 last year when life happened.

Anyways, I have spent the last few days working on the old bug list. If all goes well. I will release Korbin 4.1 tonight.

I decided to give a sneak peak of what to expect.

Oh hell yea! I still use v2.1a & change my Orb every few months if not more, depending on my mood

I don't know if it's really a 'bug', but the only occurance I ever have is that if I use StartOrbz from my Standard Account, once I apply an Orb, the Orb Menu shows my Admin. Account & I just need to quit & restart Explorer.exe (using Task Manager).

New build looks interesting, but I hope it won't only be for 8. I'm not planning to upgrade to 8, staying w/7.
