Startup Repair everytime after installing World Racing 2

Hey guys,

Like the titel says,

I installed World Racing 2

And now i get startup repair the whole time.

I says it is repairing but when it has finished. is says like it couldn't repair and like that. Then i can click on the restart button but it starts up the startup repair again.

I did system recovery from yesterday, windows is working fine now. but after i installed it i get it again.

Can i post this here??

Looks like the website for the publisher is down....so not much chance for a patch (if you could even install it)....I would try a different game, before you possibly mess up your system....Burnout Paradise ultimate box, works great (no cd needed after install)...Need for speed Shift, works great....Flatout, works great once you get all the Windows live stuff done....

Not many games are worth messing up your system....esp since it has been proven to do so....

It happened also to me, same exact thing: then I found out on Microsoft's site that it is not compatible with Windows 7 x64:
Windows 7 Compatibility for World Racing version 2: Avanquest. Drivers, Updates, Downloads

I bet Starforce has something to do with it as I was stuck in a loop: Starforce drivers being unsigned (digital sign is only required by W7 x64 as far as I know, so that must be why the game runs well on x86 systems) -> Force install -> Reboot -> Repair (with recovery) -> Starforce drivers being unsigned -> repeat this as much as you want.

I ended up installing XP on a tiny partition for legacy gaming, I think this is still the best option by now.

Hey thnx guys i have solved it its working great now

i was searching for that starforce protecion thing then i have found an update

an official update from starforce itself i installed the game world racing 2 first

then the update from starforce and its working great now.
