Hi, im new to these forums and i need help. I installed windows 7 about half a year ago and i installed lots of crap. I eresed all of it, but i have a 232 gb hard disk and only 157 gb is free im like using 20 gb . I used disk cleanup, i eresed all of the non useble stuff folders everything deeply and there is stil 157 gb of free space. And the problem is that i cant reinstall my windows and i dont have a friend or somebody who could. So how could i clean my pc? Cause it even lags youtube.

Also note that what Explorer or the command prompt shows you as used vs free may not be entirely accurate - useful to know (because programs making those API calls will also "see" what the shell and the command line tools "see"), but not always accurate. Sometimes a tool like SpaceMonger which reads the raw disk information can be more accurate as to used vs free on the disk itself.

If you want to start over again, most computers that come with Windows 7 have a built in recovery partition you can use to put your computer back to it's "Factory New" state. This will erase everything, including any data you have so if there is anything you want to keep, you need to back it up first.

What is the make and model number of the computer? Did it come with a Users Guide that you access via the Start Menu? If you you can look there to see how you recover/restore your system to it's factory state.

You should also be able to create a set of System Recovery DVDs that you can use to reinstall Windows 7. Click on Start and type create recovery disc. That should get you started.
