The basic Sticky Notes that are a part of Win 7 leave a bit to be desired.

Not being able to have a few fonts to choose from is an issue. I find the default and only font less than easily read at a quick glance.

That said, I've searched and asked around, yet I have yet to find anything that I like. I want simple, not complex, just a good sticky note program that has clear fonts, and a slightly larger selection of colors.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Yeah, the script is a little bad but it may be dependant on you display too. You might check out some of the Gadgets available. They probably have more options although I don't have one in particular to suggest.

have you looked at stickies?

you can change fonts, and it has lots of features - it may look complicated, but it doesn't have to be - you can still just use it for simple sticky notes.
