Strange error in Windows 7 Professional -- RawPath???

Having a weird thing showing up in my Glary Utilities as it is doing a registry check. It finds and supposedly fixes something to do with RawPath.

I get a message like "Section: HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1693463847-1280325588-1001\Software\NeoSoftTools\System Manager\task\Item108.

The "Software\NeoSoftTools" varies as does the "Item" number, but the other entries are the same.

I will have as many as 30 errors like this found (and fixed), but when I run a scan again, these and sometimes others will appear.

I cannot find any mention of the word "RawPath" on Google.

I did a registry backup and then manually went in and deleted “RawPath” from multiple instances in my registry. Upon reboot, they came back, but there seems to be no other effect. The computer is running slow, so I have been looking around for reasons.

I use 32bit Windows 7 Professional with all the latest upgrades.
I have Winutilities, Glary, CC Cleaner, Malwarebytes. Microsoft Essentials. All up to date on everything.

Hi Bill, the NeoSoft tools is one of those unneeded tweak tool suites which tries to be better than Win 7's built in utilities, ex, Task Manager. I would uninstall it. Glary Utilities may have something to do with it too. CCleaner should be all you need. I would remove Winutilities and any other tweaking program you have. Many of them can tweak a Win 7 OS to death resulting in loss of data and a full reinstall.

Update you Malware Bytes and do a full scan.

The path and file name of a Shell link object:

A raw path is something that might not exist and may include environment variables that need to be expanded.
