Hi.

I installed the windows 7 update a week a go. Everything worked well until monday at school. When i start the systmem and enter the windows password the "ball icon" stops spinning and the systems freezes.

tuesday, wednesday and today the same problem accured.

There is a password encrypted wireless network at school but home I have a mac encrypted network so I dont have to enter userid/password at the home network.

The strange problem is that at home windows starts normally without any problems. The only thing thats different from home at school is the wireless network. Is it possible that the wireless network crashes windows?

Any ideas?

Its a acer 5810 notebook,
windows 7 is installed as a upgrade from vista.

Fount the "Inte PROSet/Wireless tool" and started a diagnostic test.
The test faild at "hardware test" , the driver was to old.

I downloaded a new driver, and now the PROSet diagnostic tool is satisfied and tells me that i have a functional wireless card.

Can the Intel PROSet wireless tool be the reason ? Whats the function of the PROSet wireless app?
