Stuck on setup

Hello
I have tried to install different versions of windows 7 but each time I get "Setup is preparing your computer for first use" error and then it sticks at that. Time wise it would appear that windows is installed, I have replaced the hdd and like I said have tried different windows installations. Can anyone help please

Please edit your profile with ALL hardware specs.

Boot with the Win 7 installation disk, go to repair and launch a CMD window.
Type:
chkdsk c: /f
