Stuck on Shutting Down

Hi guys been a while since I have been on here my problem is when I shutdown my desktop PC the screen gets stuck on shutting down screen, this doesn't happen all the time but wouldn't mind what you thought the problem is. Haven't installed anything new for a while just updated drivers for hardware recently, could this be a issue?

Shut down issues are generally caused by a program and/or process that is refusing to exit, do you see any notification ?

I know at work here we have the computers set to clear the pagefile at shutdown and that causes some hangups. You could check this article How to Clear the Windows Paging File at Shutdown and see if you are set to do that.

IMHO, some drivers do cause slow shut down and Windows updates too.
Before shutdown press ALT+CTRL+DEL to enter Windows Task Manager to close processes before shutdown to reduce time consumed.
