Solved Sudden memory lose

I have all optional and critical updates installed that have to do with Windows 7. I also just recently formatted the system I have been referring to throughout this thread, and I have not had an issue.

wait a second 0.0 you said that you have 32 bit OS right? why your profile show that you have 64?

i don't know what to do... i don't want to format again just to see the same issue occur.... i tested it on 3 pcs and they had the same dam issue... all that was installed on them was win 7 (both OSs, on my brother laptop it was 64 bit while mine pc and my father pc have 32 bit) with all the available updates , it don't seem to be hardware issue...

btw did you tried to open alot of programs and leave the pc on for a whole day? (or even two) or you just trun it off after some hours? the issue usually more noticeable after a day or two of use.

I have two 64-bit machines and a 32-bit old Toshiba laptop that is on its last legs (any day it will just stop functioning as it is five years old), but it is where I got the memory numbers I showed you. I reformatted it a few weeks ago while my research laptop was in the shop so I would have a computer to use for helping on these forums while the desktop (system specs for my profile are for the desktop) is in use by my girlfriend.

This sounds like a software issue, not a hardware issue. You really should try to track down what application, service, or Windows corruption is causing the problems.

i totally agree with you, but i just want to be 100% sure that it not hardware issue.

i plan to do clean startup when all of my files will be backup, i wait for my new portable HDD to arrive cause my old one reach it space limit , when my files will be back up i going to do some tests without being scared to lose my data (though i know that simple clean startup usually don't mess up stuff at all)

i'm really want to find the culprit for this issue =(

i can't even watch 2 hours long movie like that , all of my icons start to disappear till i performed hard reboot ;(

How are things working at present? Did you narrow down what was causing the issues?

not really :\
thanks for your concern though

i took my time but now i preparing to format my pc again...

what i do discover was that half of my issue was caused by Nvidia's driver.. however it only was half of my issue as it seems my memory leak still there...

when i turn on my pc the ram suppose to be on 37% and goes back to 37% when i turn off all the apps, But now my ram start on 40% + , nvidia driver made it to hang on 60-70 but after i delete it the ram moved to 40-45... less ram taken but still a leak ;\
