Sequence of events:
- inserted new USB Flash Drive into USB port on HP 8460p notebook running Win 7 64-bit
- ran Macrium Reflect Back-up routine
- backup aborted - error message said run CHKDSK /r
- at Command Prompt entered CHKDSK /r - it said do you want to run CHKDSK when you reboot Y/N? I entered Y. I don't believe CHKDSK ran when I rebooted
- I inserted the same USB FD into a different HP 8460p notebook
- ran Macrium Reflect backup routine
- backup started and ran for over an hour but failed to complete - error message was index verification failed
- I removed the USB FD and rebooted the system
- inserted the USB FD, the light on the Flash Drive turned on, however Windows Explorer did not detect it
- I inserted another USB Flash Drive, the same make and model USB FD, in the same USB port; it was immediately detected and accessible.
