I recently re-installed my ATI drivers and the Catalyst Control Centre. It all installed properly.

When i right click on the desktop,i see "Graphics Properties" and "Configure Switchable Graphics" options. However on clicking the latter i get a window showing this :

I should be getting a list of programs like this :

Also under Video->Color settings,i used to use the AMD Theater preset which made the videos on my laptop more colourful but now choosing any preset does not do anything i.e. there is no change in the video. Why is that and how do i fix that?

When you have a laptop that has Switchable Graphics, you should be going to the laptop vendor to get the video drivers, not to AMD. The drivers at AMD are not designed to support switchable graphics (AFAIK) and instead, are for the more general video cards.

I agree with Mark, the ASUS supplied graphics drivers work great on my K75DE's switchable graphics. The newer version direct from AMD not so much. Seems to be missing features and incomplete compared to the ASUS supplied driver. In my case newer wasn't necessarily better.
