Hi, I have a DELL Inspiron 5520 with 2 Graphics Cards:

ATI Radeon 7670M & Intel HD 4000

I've installed the drivers required and unfortunately the switchable graphics section in "Catalyst Control Manager" doesn't have an option to manually change the graphics card. It has the option to choose what graphics card a program should use, but that never works. I know that if I find a modded BIOS like in this thread:

http://www.sevenforums.com/hardware...itchable-graphics-using-i7-amd-radeon-13.html

Then it will work for me, but my problem is that I don't know if that BIOS is specifically for ACER laptops or I can use it on my DELL. If not, I'd appreciate it if someone came up with a BIOS for DELL. Also, I'd like to know what that BIOS has that the original one didn't, please explain. For example, removing whitelist, etc ...

Y u need to manually switch the graphics card when it can automatically switch according to the requirements??? If u want a program to b run with better graphics, go to switchable graphics, browse the program in it and set priority to high performance...

I've tried doing that but it never works. It says that it will change to the High-Performance processor but it never does.

Oh, and I found what the other BIOS had which my one doesn't: Advanced Menu

If i was you I'll uninstall all graphics drivers and reboot, then reinstall from stock the most updated switchable graphics Dell.

It is a pain to update both graphics and be able to keep the Switchable fonction to work. Unless having the proper modded driver, then you'll have to do with it if you really need to switch the graphics from wire powered to battery power.
