System Image from SSD and HDD to new HDD only-SOLVED

My system is getting older and I want to replace the drives before they fail ... I want to use system image to restore my system to a single new hdd ... I have a 60 gb SSD(C:) and 1 TB hdd (E:, F:, G:) ... when I make system image it images C: drive but also F: drive which has several programs and some date ... if I remove both my SSD and hdd ... and install the new hdd ... and restore image from an external hdd ... what will happen to the new hdd ... will it just install the c: stuff on a partition ... and the F: stuff on a second partition? I have not been able to find any discussions about this situation ... thanks

I don't get enough benefit from the SSD to buy another one ... will be perfectly happy with a single hdd

Solved the problem by doing a clean install of windows 7 on new HD ... got rid of some things I didn't need in the process ... and now have one drive with two partitions ... took awhile ... but done ... so ... issue solved ... thanks ... John
