In November, I uninstalled Avast and am still stuck in a System Repair Loop. I managed to find out through Hiren's Boot CD that my Bootmgr is missing and other boot files are corrupt.
I just got my hands on a System Repair disk for my laptop the other day, and for some reason, instead of a Blue background when it starts, I get a Gray background (like with the Windows PE disk I made) with (I think) Korean option boxes (OK, Cancel, etc.) and the title on Command Prompt having Korean letters and Ws with lines through them. How do I get the install disk back to normal and try to repair this System Repair Loop?
