I tried to google it but i couldnt get any answers for windows seven.

I'm going to do a System restore to hopefully replace some corrupter system files. The problem is i have a lot of personal pictures and music. What worries me the most is the pictures. So will a system restore delete my photos.
If it were to do the system restore im pretty sure it would go back to when it was when i first got the laptop(i havnt done any backups or things like that).

I will only tell you what should happen and not what will happen. Pictures will not be touched.
I have done several SR and suggested it to others, personal documents are not touched.
You can back up the pic on a finger drive, if you feel concerned.
Your documents and pic folders should not be changed.
With SR if you are not happy with the results you can go back to before the restore.
Make a SR point before you start for protection.

Von- I urge you to back up your valuable pictures and data as soon as you can. Personally I keep 4 copies of everything including 100+ GB of digital pictures. Fortunately back up drives are quite cheap these days and I hope that you will have the foresight to back up all of your irreplaceable data and pictures to an external drive before they are accidentally lost.

I have a good friend whose computer suddenly crashed last year and he lost his entire 9 year catalog of pictures and he was crushed. As a result I set up an automatic backup system for him, but he will never get the pictures he lost back.
