I tried to install a Theme last night and I did something wrong I believe it has something to do with my explorer.exe. Anyway when I my computer started it shows a black screen, I didn't get any error though. I had to manually run explorer.exe with task mananger. Now when I tried to 'Optimize' my computer (Changing Windows Color, Sounds, Screen Saver) it said :
"Windows cannot find 'C:\Windows\System32\system32\rundll32.exe'".
I believe it's supposed to be :
"'C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe'".

I don't have a system32 in my System32 but I do have a rundll32.exe in there. If anyone knows how to help me I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

You have corrupted system file (s).
Windows system restore to date prior to error happening, if you can isolate it, or if you have the windows CD, boot from it and Repair Install the OS.
Also try to find it on your computer. Usually a copy of it can be found in c:\windows\system32\dllcache (a copy from c:\windows\system32) or c:\windows\i386 or c:\windows\$uninstall that is a folders where updates saves copies. If found then copy to c:\windows\system32. rundll32.dll is essential windows process. If you don't have then simply to re-intall windows is your choice. Do not download it from the internet.

I would run the system file checker utility (if system restore doesn't fix the issue). Here is a tutorial that will explain how to do so: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html
Here is the tutorial for system restore: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html

If you do decide to reinstall, here is a good tutorial on how to do so: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html
Note: I do advise against #16. A clean install is good enough and I do not recommend any extra "cleaning" etc. The built in disk cleanup and disk defragmenter programs built in to Windows should be sufficient.

I think you got me wrong.
First of all I don't have the Windows CD so I won't be able to use that repair tool.
Next to that is that I do have the rundll32.exe and I don't think it's corrupted.

The problem is that they're searching in System32\system32 instead of just System32

I did it before but that didn't do anyting, I'll try it once more.

Run it three times with reboots in between each one. If that doesn't work, do a system restore (go to start and type in system restore) and you might want to try startup repair which CAN be accessed without a Windows disk. Here is a tutorial on how to access Startup Repair: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html
