Taskbar resizing

Hi everyone,
I can't remember if I right clicked or left clicked, the task bar but I know I clicked it and the taskbar went from about 1 inch to 2 1/2 inches and I can't get it back. The taskbar is not locked and I can make it larger with the double arrows but not smaller, I went to the task bar customization and nothing. Has anyone had the same problem in Windows 7?

Have you rebooted and tried resizing again?

Yes,that's one of the first things I did.

Do Option 2 of this tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have. You may need to do this up to 3 times with a reboot after each scan.
