They are placeholder security accounts. You can't actually log in to them.

Additional Info.....

You are a member of the Creator Owner Group.
Every time you create a file or folder, you are the Creator Owner of that file or folder till someone or something physically takes ownership of it.

Very good question, I hope that I can give a good answer. I think you read this

you will see that it is very easy to take ownership

How to Take Ownership and Full Control Permissions of Files and Folders in Vista Tip and Trick
It has no revalence with taking ownership. It's a placeholder. Like if the Creator Owner group has only read permissions, then users create place items in it only get read permissions.

It's to provide flexibility for Domain admins.

Well,, be careful of what you take ownership of.
You do not want to just go off an take ownership of files at will.

Most specifically and I quote

The person who created the file or directory is a member of this group. This group is used by Windows NT to automatically grant access permissions to the creator of a file or directory.

I completely agree. You don't want to take ownership just to do it. You need to do it ONLY when there is an absolute need. I have seen many people destroy their computer doing this without taking in consideration the consequences of taking ownership away from an account that needs it. These permissions were put in place by Microsoft for a reason (with many years of study). Most of the permissions are there to protect the machine so it will run safely and efficiently and so the end-user can’t break it. – I added some REP.
