This was something that I thought about, but couldn't remember when they became required. That probably means that the vehicles would have to be so old, that all of them would either be junk, or high-priced, as good vintage pickups are not cheapI would look at a pre-cat truck and call it a day !
I got curious of this too, and apperantly, under Title 42, Chapter 85, Subchapter II, Part A, § 7521 of the United States Code (@____@), all vehicles after model year 1983 should have a catalytic converter. . . .
Time to dig out that 1969 car! XD
