Thumbnails in folders like xp

Why 7 can't show thumbnails in folders like xp?

I meant to point out that many people regret this preview.
It seems impossible not to have something already done on the new win.

But rereading the answer I can understand.

if you right click a folder and select properties ,you then click the customize tab,click the choose file button in the folder picture section then select an image to show in the folder thumbnail .you can show albumart in a music folder, a specific picture in a photos folder and so on.
