Solved ThunderBird 8.0 incompatibly

i tried installing a add-on for Thunderbird 8.0 called minimize to tray but says its incompatible for version 8.0, so i go Google search the add-on. Find on but same thing,only able to find ones for version 7.0. Not sure how i can make it work, I tried the other add on for adding compatibly to older add-on or Thunderbird but same thing so i was wondering how can i make this work for thunder 8.0 so how or do i need to go find a 7.0 version of Thunderbird but i would rather stay on the updated one.All help is appreciated.

Hi M1GU31, Having seen your query I searched Add-ons and discovered that it is currently available and called 'Minimize to Tray - revived 1. However I must advise that I'm running FireFox 9 beta but that suggests that it may have been updated and now perhaps available for FF8. Worth another look; or you could either install FF9 beta or wait a short while till FF9 available for general release.

Sorry MIGU31, My fault I confused FF with Thunderbird. However a quick check reveals that it is now available in Thunderbird 8 having been released at a later date than your inquiry - so all should be well.
