Solved Time is always wrong

Do you have your location & time zone set correctly as this controls the clock timing.

If it's only the time that is getting out by a few minutes then check your time zone, but if the date is being lost as well then it is most likely the CMOS battery.

Yes i have location and time zone set correctly.i checked it.the difference is not in minutes but in hours. Also date

is changing as well. Its not CMOS problem.Because previously it was ok.I think i `ve got a nasty virus.

The time & date are stored on the motherboard, not in the Windows Operating System, so a virus is unlikely, but a flat or failing CMOS battery is very likely.

The question is why it worked previously. But now its not working. If it was CMOS problem,it should have shown wrong date and time from the beginning.

ComboFix usage, Questions, Help? - Look here - Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware, and Privacy Software

So you may have created a problem. Can you start the computer in Safe mode & perhaps you can find the problem in safe mode or uninstall Combofix.

The CMOS battery is located on the motherboard, so you may have to remove the to reveal it. They are usually a 2032 3 volt lithium button cell & clips into a slot on the MB & it looks like this.
