Tips for a new water cooler.

I tried to overclock my i5 3570k to 4.5ghz. It works but can't play any games without my CPU heating up and crashing my computer. Any tips for a good water cooling system?
And ivy bridge runs reaaaal hot. I use to have a sandy bridge i7 2700k and Overclocked it to 4.8 ghz with no problem. And now I can't even go past 4.2ghz without my CPU heating up

What vcore are you using.

1.070v. It's set in Offset Mode

What are the actual temps you are hitting? It might be that your currently cooler isn't up to the job, or that the thermal paste or cooler itself are bad.

Also, what is the stock voltage on your CPU?

Lastly, watercooling.
The Corsair H50, H60, and H90 (I think?) are all very good, and not too expensive either. If you want to go with anything more custom, you will easily be over $100+.

Too many variables to say "this is your problem". What kind of CPU cooling do you currently have? Care to post some BIOS screenshots for us to take a look at? Maybe a screen capture of Core Temp

I don't believe a vcore of 1.070 should be causing high temps. Under what load are you getting these Offset Mode voltages?
If you vcore is 1.070 Offset with light load it could be to high under heavy load.
What programs are you using to read temps?
