I have dmg which I can burn with TransMac, but it's about 6.5GB, so I'd need to find an actual disc. I have a copy of Empire EFI for Intel GMA HD chipsets, but yeah, I'd need an actual Snow Leopard disc. So I guess I'll have to go with iDeneb.

You could also use UltraISO to convert the .dmg into a .iso.

You could just get a DVD+DL (assuming your DVD drive supports Dual-Layer DVD's), or go buy a $29 upgrade copy at your local Genius Bar.

that's correct, now we have to wait and see what the Lib Dems decide though it looks like they will choose the Conservatives

Yes noob. Quite possible -- not definite - that UK voters will have to go to the polls again within a year.

basically yes.

as we have more than two parties in the UK the largest party has to have enough votes to have more than the total of all other parties in numbers it's 326 the biggest party had only just over 300 so they will have to co-operate with others to pass any laws.

in a way it means that more extreme policies do not get passed, which is not actually a bad thing

It depends on who the party who came third (very, very third) support as to who forms a new government.
Personally I hope they go with the party who came second because that means they will bring in Proportional Representation.
That would mean an end to the "first past the post" system, we would get away from this, basically, two party state and we won't have this silly situation, where a minority party become the kingmakers, again.
Whatever happens now I think that British politics is about to change dramatically and I agree that that's no bad thing.
I stayed up all night watching this and then worked all day. It was well worth it. Probably the most interesting political event in my lifetime but I'm knackered now.

im honestly not sure which way I want this to go...

on the one hand, i really want Proportional Representation, as i think the first past the post stuff is absolute nonsense, the Lib Dems managed to rack up a pathetic 55 seats (losing 4) despite having 23% of the vote

on the other hand, i dont think we can do with 4 more years of labour, (potentially, although in truth it probably won't be that long as i understand it)

i stayed up watching it, wow.... cant believe how close they came, and to think i almost didnt bother voting, even though i was a first time voter

personally i dont think clegg will go with Conservative though, they arent going to offer him the proportianate representation vote

Agreed SS. I think the Lib Dems would only go with Labour if Brown steps down though. We might even get Vince Cable as Chancellor.
If that does happen and they hold a referendum on PR in, say, six months and it's supported I think we would have another general election straight away and end up with a House full of all sorts of representatives-even Monster Raving Loonies!
