Snow tires are speed rated like all tires.
With the thicker tread the heat build up is faster and not able to dissipate.

Go over 210km/h heat build up starts disintegrating them.
The tread will peel off in chunks or in one big piece like a semi truck tire when they blow.

Of course for safety 210km/h is not going to damage them necessarily the first time but age and length of heat build up.
Might be the first time or the 10th but there will be a last time.

It can be rather amusing to watch people try to drive in the snow and ice here.....it doesn't seem to sink in that you might need more space to slow down. Also, many people with four-wheel drive vehicles go off the road, because they mistakenly think it will let them drive normally.

As my uncle told me many years ago, four wheel drive helps you go, but it does not help you stop.

Well today I was missing quite a lot of it, it was my youngest birthday so apart from going over there to take her presents I had to look after the youngest grandson while she took the other one to speech therapy.

I also bought myself Tetris Party Deluxe for my Nintendo DSi XL and I also got myself a web cam. It was in Sainsbury's and on sale it's a Logitech Webcam C120, I got it for £8.
Mind you don't even know if any of my friends have one so I can use it

I know only one woman who could actually yell so loud! She's the mother of my first wife, my first mother-in-law. I still get goose pumps every time I see a broom stick and remember how she could fly in so incredible quietly, not detected by radars, and scare the hell out of me suddenly starting to yell behind my back

I've found a couple of headphone sets that I've got but never used and one of them has the microphone arm sticking out of it.

TODAY.. began as a normal cloudy , cold day..then it began snowing.. then more snow.. now there are huge flakes.. still coming down very hard..I'm at work looking out over.. the parking lot.. cars are still out going about their daily activities.. so far .. our snowfall was 6 plus inches of snow when I left at 4 pm.. this will go on all night.. into the early day tomorrow.. bitterly cold tonite..below the teens near , 0. No pics yet.. I'll try for those tomorrow.. so far it's just snow.. the kind that makes great snowmen , or great for a snowball fight .:devil2:
