Toggle sound between speakers and headphones by program

Hey all,

I'm curious to see if there's a way to easily swap between multiple audio outputs in windows 7. Specifically, I want to be able to drag/drop, right click, or handle moving a program's sound output without having to go into the control panel, advanced coding (I'm decent at my windows fixes, but I don't want to have to fiddle with it for ten minutes to play a two minute vid from my speakers). or futzing about with windows default output device. In essence, I want to be able to control where a program sends it's output on the fly and with minimal configuration while maintaining output (and default output settings) from other devices and programs.

An example would be to have skype output to my headset, while having youtube come out the speakers. Then changing that up and having skype output from my speakers with two or three seconds effort. Or having spotify come out my headset while I have a vid on the speakers to show someone else. All this needs to be done intuitively, with only a few seconds input on my part while the program is still running & without restarting it.

Thanks in advance for any insights you guys can provide.
~Ashi~

Windows only allows one default playback device at a time. Thus what you want to do isn't possible with the default Windows. There may be a 3rd party program somewhere that will allow that. Do a google search and see if you can come up with anything.
