Hello To All,

I just bought my new PC (pls. see my system specs). I have a problem with my microphone. When I used the service a voice chat messenger, I found out that my background is too noisy.

I am not expert on computer and I hope someone could help me with my problem. I am so upset with this. Does Realtek can help me with my problem? How? Can I install it free? How? How to set-up then? Or anything you can suggest.

I badly need your help.

Thank you so much.

What kind of microphone have you got? Have you browsed around the Control Panel for mic settings and see any option there that might help? Perhaps a setting in the voice chat messenger you use? Might also just be a bad (brand of) mic...

We have other PC at home. I also tried that headset but works fine. When I plug in that headset on the that PC, the REALTEK software pop up to confirm that a microphone is plug to the computer.

Perhaps my sound settings will do but dunno where to start. Anyway, I want to try that REAL software. Is it free? Where I can download that for my high definition audio?

Or can I copy that REALTEK software and download run to my PC by USB?

Thank You.

One thing also I noticed, my mic does not work with "High Audio Device". I can only use "Audio Device" option for my mic, but after I make a free test call, it says that I have too noisy background.
