Solved Toshiba Satellite c660 - 1gr

Hello my friend got giving a laptop it was running slow and I think it might of had a virus so I downloaded DBAN and used it to wipe the laptop and reinstalled a new copy on windows 7 64bit

Now I have downloaded and installed the drivers from Toshiba Website but it still wont let me connect to the internet even with an ethernet cable

Can someone help me out here please on what I am doing wrong, Thanks in advance for any help

Hello I dont think I have downloaded them properly, I am in no way a computer wizz kid, The same thing happend to my laptop and I fixed it the same way no problem

Yes it looks like you still need to install the drivers. Try the drivers here Download drivers:
Install chips then Lan driver

I was on the toshiba website and downloaded the drivers and run them from usb I dont know why it still wont connect even by ethernet, Here are the drivers can you tell me the one that runs wireless internet then I can connect to the internet an update drivers that way, Thanks for your help

OK I downloaded that Lan Driver how do I run this or what has to be done with these files

Click on the Lan Network then right click select Update Driver ...

Then you choose the Location of the Files point Windows to the rt64 win7 sys ..

Hello I am sorry about this but I am confused how to do that step you posted, Here is what I am seeing and I need to know on what picture do I do that step sorry for the noob question

Device Manager
Right-click on your LAN device
Then click on Update Driver
Select on "seach driver on computer"
Then insert the path to the File rt64Win7sys
Click OK and Windows will install the driver for you.
