Alternate Hotkey?

Prisoner, I discovered System Transparency while looking to watch video and work simultaneously (like I had on my AV Mac). Great, but I don't have a middle mouse button on my MacBook (one key with two fingers as right-click).

Can I map an alternate hotkey?

Nope, but I think I could make a modified version for you if you tell me which keys you want mapped to where. But also note that your graphics card will probably need to be very powerful in order to use the transparency with a movie under it. But if you still want to try, by all means.

What is the scan code for the middle mouse button? I could map that to the ` grave accent key. That is the key I would use instead of the middle mouse button.

I am watching video behind all of my pages now and it works fine. I just want to be specific which pages are transparent.

Don't worry about it, I remapped the keys for the manual transparency to the Ctrl + Grave/Win + Grave keys. Just make sure to have your mouse over the windows when you press the keys. Just replace the EXE file you have with this one.

Grave Accent Works, System Tray Icon Missing

Prisoner, the grave accent hot key works, thanks. The icon is not showing up in the system tray (although the app is running). Also, the app is not showing the wrench icon on the file. Any ideas?

I couldn't find the original icon on my hard drive and was too strict on time to go grab it again, and the icon is designed to be hidden by default. Just hold Shift+Enter to open up the main screen.

Hey Prisoner i liked the theme & it look great & i downloaded but my anti-virus detected it as a virus so i allowed it & it accepted it. But i can't extract files getting error: no file found View attachment 95340. Here attaching the screenshot on a word document. Hope you'll help me to get with this problem bcz i love the glass effect/transparency effect on my windows 7.

I learned some time ago that some antivirus programs would pick this program up as a virus. It's because it modifies the Windows shell. Some virus scanners think, for good reason, that this is bad. It is bad, if the person intends to be malicious with your system. So, it is picked up as a virus. Rest assured, I don't plan on hurting any computers that aren't my own.

For the missing/damaged archive message, it is possible that either your download did not complete fully, for some reason, or the antivirus you used removed one of the files in the archive. I suggest deleting the old copy and redownloading it. Try it then, and tell me if it works. If not, I'll give you the files seperately.

As for the glass effect, that had been a goal for quite a while, but I found that it wasn't possible with AutoHotKey, the programming language I used to code the program. It hasn't been updated for Windows 7, and I don't have a computer that can handle Aero effects, so I cannot do this. Sorry.

Sorry, I didn't understand that was well as I'd like to.. but I think you asked where the .ini file was? If that's the case, it's in your Documents folder.

Hi I would like to request for a context menu app (like moo0 right-clicker) that has browser integration and also adds effects (font, font color, transparency, menu color) to it so that it will have limitless customisation not like moo0 right-clicker which has only skins. and maybe also add their WindowsMenuPlus to the context menu but with a twist so that it won't be just the same application. btw, thank you for the super great application! i was just wondering if there is any possibility of applying transparency to a specific app and if you reboot your setting for that specific program will be the same when you relaunch it? i have tried it on LogMeIn software but it doesn't work? if it doesn't have that feature can you please add it? and please add a drag and drop option so that a specific icon or popup/notification type from the program would be the only one set to a certain transparency not the whole program itself. i don't know if my suggestions are possible. after all, they are just ideas.

Well, I really hate to say it, but my knowledge with AHK isn't that extensive. But you have some awesome suggestions. I'm taking notes as I type.

Maybe someday when I have the time to get back to programming, and when I have knowledge of a language that's a bit more powerful, I'll attempt to remake this program and add features like those. But for now, I don't have the time.
