Solved Trojan virus malwarebytes

i have a trojan virus that wont go away. its named trojan.agent.hmgen. no matter how many times i delete it with malwarebytes it wont go away.

Is it claiming that virus on one specific file every time? [give us that filename too please]

If so it's being auto replaced from another copy.

What active anti-virus solution is declaring this virus?

My own trick for this is to note the filename in question, boot into safe mode, search for that filename throughout the main partition and remove all copies AND check for this filename in the registry and remove any suspicious ones (likely all).
[backup the registry just in case beforehand]
Really nasty one, I'd boot to just a command prompt and use old dos commands to find and remove it, if necessary.

Please download AdwCleaner:

Save to the desktop.

Close all open programs.
To run the program, right-click AdwCleaner.exe and select: Run as Administrator

Click on Search and confirm the prompt.
After the program finishes, a text file report opens.
Please post the content of the C:\AdwCleaner[Rx].txt in your reply.

Post the log before doing the delete part below.

To delete:



Run AdwCleaner once again.
This time click on: Delete
When done, please post the content of the C:\AdwCleaner[Sx].txt in your reply.

It also wouldn't hurt to D/L & run TDSSKiller to be sure no rootkits are involved.

thanks same problem i had. i also have a asus motherboard. so i guess it was a false alarm
