Solved Trouble removing a program -not on control panel - Locked Files Wizard

I currently have an option on my files and folders that has the option to select in locked folders and files in locked files wizard.

I have previously troubleshooted for what was keeping my external hard drive if you look at my history - process explorer - copy lock and auto runs. I am not sure where this option originated from -

I am in a desperate search how to get the option off just in case I lock a file or folder.

I am only a beginner on the computer and worried about locking files. I currently can not move files and folders from my desktop and troubleshooting that.

I downloaded CopyLock2 from Miscellaneous Tools

I have tried looking through my Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

If someone could please assist me in trying to get this option from my computer as I do not know where the files end up.

I have tried going into Google and there are some programs that claim to remove Locked Files Wizard, but i can not see the program or file for it to be removed.

Hello Melissa from my searches I find it has to be downloaded as I don't have it on my machines.

However I did find these two refs

I am not sure of these two best do a scan on them on saving to downloads.

myself I would scratching around in the regedit in the HKEY_LOCAL_MCHINE > Software > Microsoft > Windows but I would be aware that it may even not be a dedicated Microsoft product. Then you would have to search elsewhere. But be careful

Not downloading third party products. Just getting trouble.

I did look at the websites - I have kept them on a piece of paper for reference.
You can understand meddling in registry sends me in a tail spin.

I contacted the developer - here is the website - Miscellaneous Tools

He said this - but I am not sure regarding the leftovers in the registry.

If you want to remove the Locked Files Wizard options from your shell context menu, just run Locked File Wizard once (you can download it again for free from Miscellaneous Tools) and on the first page of the assistant, click the Uninstall button if there is such a button (on the left side of the About button.) Once you did this, just click Cancel to close the wizard, you can then delete the file from your disk.

Not sure about deleting it from my disk

No Melissa I don't have the need for stuff like that anyway and frankly I never download anything without a thorough scan of it first and if it sounds too good then it usually is

I have cleaned up too many messes on others machines to get caught using something that promises all and delivers nothing but hassles and in the end a broken machine.

I have learnt. Still do not know how to remove, will just leave the program for now and leave the registry.

Should I try the below - I am not a computer literate person - so deleting the file from the disk - not too sure. Thanks.
