Trying to Redirect a Folder = Access Denied ???

My first question:
If I share a drive, and then a parent folder, with all possible users having full control; then, all sub-folders will also be automatically shared --- am I right?

When the parent folder is thus shared, even though the sub-folders say "not shared", because the parent folder is shared, these "not shared" sub-folders are shared regardless of what they say --- right ?

I am trying to redirect some app data folders from the C Drive to another drive.
When I get to the part where it asks me to move all of the files, I get a pop-up saying the operation cannot be completed because Access is Denied.

I AM the Administrator and I cannot fathom how access could possibly be denied.

How am I going to fix this ?

Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

Hi Buckskin-

Right click on any of the sub-folders and select Properties. In Security, do you have full control?

For completeness, which of the folders are you trying to share in the AppData folder.
