Hi,
I purchased a new ACER Aspire 5732Z Laptop a few months ago that came with Windows 7 Home Premium and since I bought it, I've been having problems every so often - i.e. Blue Screens, Windows Explorer Crashing, etc.

I also could have sworn that in the My Computer section I had some extra Recovery Console drive but this seems to have disappeared some time ago after a Blue Screen. I could be imagining this, but still..

The problems seemed to be getting better for a while but then in the last week or so, windows explorer has been crashing almost every day.

Then, yesterday I had a blue screen of death. And again this morning, I had another one.

Can somebody please help me solve this problem, as the constant crashing is really quite difficult to put up with.

The details are as follows:

The Error for BlueScreen 1 was:

Thank you in advance for your help! :)

Edit: I've attached the zip files of both minidumps and will be following the other BSOD instructions now. Thanks :)

Edit Two: I've attached another zip file with the Perfmon and Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 information.

BSOD caused by iaStor.sys, the driver for Intel Matrix Storage Manager
Update it in safe mode with networking Intel® Driver Update Utility

Code:
BugCheck 9088, {fffff880061b3880, fffff880061b3884, fffff880061b3890, fffff880061b3894}

Probably caused by : iaStor.sys ( iaStor+4b61e )

Thanks very much. I'll try that now.

It also said one of them may have been caused by ntoskrnl.exe. Is this related to the Intel file or something different?

Also, as i mentioned in my initial post, I could have sworn that there was some kind of recovery console drive that I saw in My Computer that disappeared after a BSOD some time ago.

With the files I provided, is there any way that you can check for this, or am I just imagining it?

ntoskrnl.exe is the core OS file, update the intel driver but if you still get BSODs you will have to enable driver verifier to identify the faulting driver(s)

Your msinfo32 file still reports that your 12GB recovery partition is still there

Post a screenshot of the disk management to be sure

I've attached a screenshot of the disk management screen. Let me know if you need any more info.

Hopefully it was just that Intel Driver then. The Windows Action Centre said that the program had stopped working properly and gave me a link to download the latest driver.

I tried going to the Intel® Driver Update Utility in Safe Mode but it didn't detect any new drivers needed, so I just installed the file that the Action Centre directed me to instead. Fingers crossed that this solves the problem!

Thanks again for your help.

Hello again,

I thought the problem had been solved the other day, but I've just had another Bluescreen.

I've attached the zipped minidump and combined Perfmon & Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 files in this message.

Thanks in advance for your help.
