For sometime now Google Chrome comes out with the "Unable to access network" error, it now appears more frequently. I have check windows fire wall and all seems OK, I have even removed Chrome and re-instated it with no effect. I tried to go to Firebox.com | Not For Everyone. and Chrome was unable to connect, I tried the same address with IE resulting in the same problem. However TOR browser had no problems. Could this be a router problem? or maybe an ISP fault?

You have the same issue in Chrome and IE, correct? The Firebox address is repeatable? Happens every time? If so, use it to test. Boot to Safe Mode with Networking, and see if it occurs there

If it works there, try a Clean Start and see if you have a conflict

If no help, try clearing DNS and reset winsock

Open an advanced command prompt

Start> In search box type cmd> Right click on cmd.exe in results above and choose Run as administrator

Type in the following, followed by enter for each

ipconfig /flushdns

Enter

ipconfig /release

Enter

ipconfig /renew

Enter

netsh winsock reset

Enter

Restart PC

Peer Block.

Peer Block is a torrent security program. It can block websites. And it does.

Do you happen to be using it? Turn it off. Is the problem gone?
