I have recently started using Win 7 on a Toshiba laptop (4gig Ram, i5 processor) but have been unable to connect with the HP Laserjet 1200. I have followed the threads provided in this forum but am unable to print to the 1200.
The printer is connected via a USB port. The printer/USB port is recognized as USB printing support. I have previously loaded the HP laserjet 1200 PCL5 driver and have now tried loading the HP Universal Printing PCL6 driver. In both situations the printer driver is seen under the printers/fax (in the Devices/Printers page) as either the Laserjet 1200 PCL5 or the HP PCL6.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
