Unable to delete key/string from registry

Here is a problem that I have been struggling with all evening and I need some help please.:cry:

I deleted Zone Alarm Extreme Security using Revo Uninstaller, I managed to get rid of everything bar a folder containing 1 dll file (in Program Files (64) and its registry settings.

CCleaner and Revo cannot remove them, I have tried manually but I get a big folder saying I need permission from SYSTEM.

I know a little about the registry but the rest is out of my comfort zone. Are there any brave souls prepared to tell me how I get rid of the final piece of Zone Alarm crap from my system?

I hope this all made sense, its been a long day and I have a doozy of a headache incoming.:o

Was there an instruction to reboot at any time during the removal process of Zone Alarm? Have you rebooted since the removal? Sometimes that is needed to unhook the .dll that was installed and loaded on startup.

Your issue may be due to needing permission from SYSTEM.
Can you change the owner to your Admin account, and then delete it?
Take a look at this tutorial by Brink and see if it helps.

It was a combination of the help from you guys and my OCD when looking through the registry in Safe Mode lol!
