Solved unable to download wave editor

I had been using DAK wave editor, but for some reason now it will not open when I click on the shortcut - comes up with an error message, "search the web" or "enter a location". Unistalled that program and Googled "wave editor", decided to try Word Pad - that gave the same result.

I suspect one of the utilies, I use MSE, MBAM and Spywareblaster, but when I go into msconfig I don't see any of those names listed that I can temporarily disable. Any suggestions?

Hi Where are you trying to Download the Program from ? ....

DAK I attempted to d/l from a link sent by them. Word Pad I tried d/l from their web page.

Have you contacted their Tech Support ?

Yes. I suspect it's one of utilities, or maybe, one of the Windows updates, because DAK had been working fine on Windows 7. Hadn't used for about eight months, so something that was installed caused the problem. Thanks.

Which Version are you using ? .. Also is there a Trial Version available from the Vendors web site ? ...

Thanks for your time maxie, but I'll let it go until some further date. I have Total Recorder and that works OK, although I'm not able to edit section I don't want.
