In your case you'd rightclick on F first to Resize, grab it with mouse and drag it to the far right, click OK. Then rightclick C to Resize, drag right border to the right to take up the space, Click OK, then Apply both steps. I would reconsider keeping your backup on the same HD since only external storage protects you if there is a HD failure.
