There's no need to make a PDF out of it - which is almost impossible for me to parse - simply upload the file itself (preferably compressed to a zip file) that way I can work with it.

I think your best bet is to uninstall .NET4.x using the Cleanup tool, and then try installing .NET 4.5.2 - see the instructions here...

Windows Update / Installer Service Problems Found

I have found the problem with my updates after I went to Microsoft and downloaded "Windows Installer Cache Diagnostic" This revealed I have 3 Missing Cache Product Files (.MSI)
I have attached the file.

What would you suggest I do next?

Strange, because it's obvious that the installer service is actually running as required - but the installer thinks not.
I can only think that there is some buried profile corruption (probably in the SYSTEM account - but that's a guess!)

I suspect that your best option is a repair install of Win7 - assuming you have access to the necessary media.

See this tutorial for details...

The next logical step is a clean install :(

... but I'll see if I can get some assistance on the repair first.

Assistance on the Repair install...No response in 3 days

Hi NoelDP,

Have you forgot about my situation. Seems like you dropped the ball cause I haven't had any response from you. Did you get in over your head? Feel like there is no solution to my problem since I haven't heard anything from you in 3 days. This leads me to wonder if I was lead down the wrong path to a solution!
What would you recommend now?

Did at any point you get the Compatbility Assistant's report which can pop up during Repair Install? What did it report?

Uninstall your AV and uncheck everything in msconfig>Startup and >Services after Hiding all MS Services. Reboot and try again.

Where did you get the Win7 installation media and how is it burned? When was the last time it successfully installed? Is it visibly scatched or smudged?

Since you need to have all of your files backed up anyway to be safe, how about just moving on to do a Clean Reinstall Windows 7? This was the last advice from Noel I see. If you stick with the steps in the blue link you'll have the best Win7 install possible, far better than the crippled infected mess you have.
