Unable to install Windows 7 Updates as Administrator

Windows Update reports that Administrator Permissions are needed, However I AM the Administrator and AM logged in as the Administrator. Please advise.

Welcome to the forum michaelmoore. Can you please post back with more details please so that you can get the help you need.

What type of computer do you have, is it a desktop or laptop ?

Who is the manufacturer and what security software do you have installed and are you fully up-to-date with everything ?

Is that the full error message or do you get any other, if so could you post a screen shot of the error box.

Don't forget we can't see your machine so the more information you give the better able the experts will be to help you fix your problem.

Is that the full error message or do you get any other, if so could you post a screen shot of the error box. < no screen shot but it is stated below:

! "You need to provide administrator permission. To complete this task, you need to log on as an administrator or ask an administrator to complete the task for you."
