Although I can access my emails through IE and open them okay, if I click on a hyper-link within the email it doesn't connect with the linked site. The header remains in view on screen with the Connecting tab on show, but the screen underneath is blank - white.

I have read other comments on this but I am not very computer literate and have been unable to understand the responses!

If anyone can help, please keep the instruction very simple, just like me...

Hi Useless1,

Can you provide a little more information to help me/someone troubleshoot?

Firstly, I am presuming you mean you are running IE10 (where you state Windows 10 in your subject field)?

Secondly, what type of e-mail account are you experiencing this problem with? Is it a Yahoo, Gmail or similar? Or is it Microsoft Outlook Web Access (most likely your work e-mails through an address given to you by your IT team)?

That will help me understand the issue a little better and maybe even replicate.

Hi,

Windows 10 is not an operating system that exists, so perhaps you are getting confused.

Also, can you confirm the web address via which you access your email account? Something like http://email.virginmedia.com?

A good first step with problems like this with web-mail is to try a different web browser (e.g. Firefox or Chrome). This would at least eliminate one variable.

Changed to Firefox and all is well in my little world!

Many thanks for your help - this has been driving me nuts for a long time now. Right, now to unsubscribe to all those round robin emails..!

Really appreciate your help!
