Hi

I'm running Windows 7 Professional SP1 - 64bit on a custom built desktop and I'm unable to run Windows update.

The error I am seeing is 8007370B (sometimes 8007370D). I've attached a screenprint of this error.

I have installed and run the System Update Readiness Tool and I still get the same error.

If I run sfc/scannow from an administrator command prompt, I get the message "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the required operation" (screenprint attached)

I have also attached the CBS log.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Paul

I daren't even think about attempting to repair that lot!

You may be lucky, and a Repair install may work - if not you're going to have to do a clean install.
