Hi

I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. My computer is a Sony Vaio S series laptop.

After I used the registry cleaner on Glary Utilities (obviously in hindsight after doing some quick research I wish I hadn't!) I started getting a 'BTTray error'.

The advice I found to deal with this was to uninstall, then reinstall, the Bluetooth drivers.

Unfortunately when I tried to install them the process is halted with the message 'Please plug in or turn on your Bluetooth device.'

(just to add Bluetooth is turned on on the laptop)

Any advice on how to successfully download the drivers would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any thoughts / help...

If it lets you just tell it to finish the installation and then restart your computer. I was able to do that on my old laptop (a Toshiba) and the bluetooth worked fine after.

Thanks for the response, alas it stops / pauses after a second with the message - 'Please plug in or turn on your Bluetooth device' - with the only option after that being to cancel.
