I'm sure I'm not the first to see this error message. What is the fix here?

Thanks.

What app? Is this an old (pre Vista) app? First thing I'd try is uninstall/reinstall the app. or a repair install if that's an option.

There is no reference to a particular app. The message appears on the desktop when I boot up. I click Continue and all seems to be ok. The message does not appear again in the session. I am running a very new PC with Win 7 64 bit.
