Uninstall programs from Program Files (x86) folder

How come I cannot remove programs that are apparently installed in the Program Files (x86) folder? They don't show even with Revo Uninstaller... Is it by default that even if I uninstall the from the regular Program Files folder, they still remain in the Program Files (x86) folder?? :sarc:

What program are you trying to uninstall?

Adobe CS3 (Photoshop, Dreamweaver,...). They still appear in x86...

Your system specs says you have a 32 bit system.

Your post implies you have program entries in both Program Files and Program Files (x86).

That implies you have a 64 bit system.

Which do you have--32 bit or 64 bit?

Assuming you have a 64 bit system, I would not expect to find a given program installation with entries in both Program Files and Program Files (x86), but that appears to be what you are saying. Maybe some programs install in both places, but I can't recall seeing it.

So, I'm confused as to your situation.

I have a 64 bit system and just last week I found one installed program that did not appear in Revo nor in Control Panel Programs and Features. To uninstall it, I had to manually use the uninst.exe file in its Program Files folder.
