Solved Unreal RAM size

is it possible to change the RAM size without actually change the amount of RAM (so you don't add RAM modules, but in the Computer Properties stands a higher result)?

No you can't and there would be no point in doing so even if you could.
What's your thinking behind this ?

Are you talking about virtual RAM as opposed to physical RAM?

I was thinking about installing win8 on a computer with +/- 312MB RAM but the installer stops me because of the lack of RAM.

We are sorry, but you can't run Windows 8 with 312mb RAM, even if we attempt to disable this limit to bypass that, we would end up in a lot of errors, lags, etc. I don't even think it would load, sadly.

how is it your running windows 7 with 312MB of ram? it needs at least 2 gigs

It runs slow, but acceptable. Btw for windows 7 you nead at least 1GB RAM for the x86 version
