Solved Unstable Latency to Router

I've recently moved into a new house, and we had our internet connection installed today. However, from my laptop (I've tested on my house mates), I have odd spikes in latency when pinging the router.

In an attempt to solve this I've moved the router to transmit on an empty channel, as well as checked that the router firmware is up-to-date, and my wireless card drivers are up-to-date.

I've attached my IP config (which is 2 images stitched together as it is kinda long), as well as a picture of ping attempts to the router. It's worth noting that wile I was pinging the router for the picture I didn't attempt any browsing, but if I do attempt to change webpage, it can jump to over 1000ms.
