Untrusted application blocked

Went to appletree.org. Clicked on rates and calculators. And then on a calculator. Error pops up " your security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running" Is there an issue with my settings? Thanks.

I do not think that the the problem is at your end. I have been getting a lot of warning, lately, from Avest Anti Virus. I am on sites trusted by me and get the message. I think that there is a new round of Virus hitting the net.

Japa applet want to run

Hi,

When visiting that site and attempting to use a calculator - it requires Java and I don't have Java installed. A Java applet wants to run so I guess that you'd need to check out your settings for Java running in your browser.

Take a look at Control Panel > Java

However if that site's Java applet won't run using the default security settings then I would not personally lower security settings to let it run.
