Kuenph,
As well as linnemeyerhere's good advice...

Sometimes in order to get updates to install properly, you may need to do them manually.

* Visit Microsoft's Download Center:

Microsoft Download Center

* Search for each update code which starts with the letters "KB" and followed by a set of numbers.
* Click the link for the download and then click Download and Run. You'll need to accept the agreement and then click Continue.
* Repeat this process for each download that Windows Updates was unable to install.
* Run Microsoft update again, click Check for updates. Hopefully it will show that you are completely patched.

FYI...
> Always make sure you have a current system restore point prior to downloading anything.

> After updates have been installed > Reboot on completion.

One more suggestion. If your machine has never been updated, and if that also means SP1 has not been installed, you might want to install SP1 first from the Microsoft Download Center (and not rely on Windows Update for this part of the update process.)

I found out on two of my machines that Windows Update starts installing the earliest Windows 7 updates and gradually works its way up to the Service Pack. SP1 contains previously released fixes to specific reliability, performance, and compatibility issues. Once SP1 is installed you can use Windows Updates to get the updates that were released after SP1. This usually results in a better update experience with fewer errors because if an error does occur, you'll know exactly which group of 3 or 4 updates caused the problem. Uninstall them then reinstall one at a time. You'll either get all of them to install correctly or you'll know which update is the problem.

This Microsoft article describes some steps to take before installing SP1 from their Download Center. Of particular note is Step 3 which requires you to install three specific updates before installing SP1. Hope this helps.

Steps to follow before you install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 from the Microsoft Download Center

Yea the instructions these friendly folks have given are the best, and I too always do small batches, and depending on what amount of updates you have I would do no more then 5 at a time so you can see better which one is trying to give you issues, in your case Im going to guess since your updating your windows disk you looking at a minimum of 20 updates or more...so keep the batch small for ease of keeping track!

ALSO get SP1 installed FIRST if possible before your other updates...

To Mr. linnemeyerhere
It did not work. I tried to update one single update and failed.

To Ms. JMH
Sorry!
It failed. KB2032276 was the one tried. The size is only 771KB.
It plainly failed.

To Mr. seavixen32
KB947821 was installed smoothly. Updates were run. Crashed at the end of the updatings.

Mr. Marsmimar

Thank you!

The similar idea popped up in my mind when I read the introduction to SP1 on Microsoft Website.
And I have already posted a question in this regard. It will be interesting to find out how the advanced Windows 7 users respond to my question.

Thank you for trying to help!

hkuenph,
I'll put this as delicately as possible, are you sure this is a legitimate copy of W7? If so, then try booting into safe mode with networking and doing small batches of updates that way. It sounds as if something has gone seriously wrong/corrupted or possible trojan is involved. Consider updating AV and downloading free Malwarebytes and running in safe mode if safe mode OS updates don't work.

Yes. It is a legitimate copy.
It came in 2 disks; one 64b & the other 32b.
I think it is corrupted because of the experiments and re-partitions I did.
I intend to re-install it.

Thanks.

Keep us in the loop on your re-install. Just had to help a friend do this very thing as his system was BSOD'g and looping at start up. I suspect Malware or major component failure like a ram stick.
