Update to IE10 fails!

I tried to update to IE10 but Windows Update returns a 9C59 error. I investigated the internet and the Windows KB and tried every possible solution, but without any result.
I seems that IE10 is already partially installed. IE gives a IE9 installation, but the Windows Component Installer gives me already IE10.
All other updates, with exception of KB2862772 (Security update of IE), will install without any problem.

I ran all the programs as in the Windows Update Posting Instructions and also included the IE9_Main.log and IE10_Main.log (???).

Can please somebody help me out.

@Trashzone, this specific machine was delivered with Windows 7 SP1 preinstalled.
It seems that an update from IE9 to IE10 went wrong somehow. As stated earlier, Internet Explorer says that IE9 is installed but if I look in the Windows Components Installed IE10 is installed.
When I tried to uninstall IE10 it is not possible. If I try to install IE10 I get the error 9C59.
I really tried everything within my (limited) possibilities to solve this issue, but without succes.

I already tried both solutions and without any positive result. It really seems that some parts of IE9 and some parts of IE10 are installed. Both the install programs for IE9 and IE10 will not do the job.
Uninstalling IE9 is also not possible. I asume while it was preinstalled when this machine was delivered.

Run sfc/scannow three time and shut down your machine after each scan completes,

That will only (possibly) work where SFC has found problems in the first place.
There is no point when it hasn't.
